Our B&B is located in the heart of the Alfama, a few steps from the church "Sao Miguel" removed, also known as "Largo da Palmeira. The house has 4 B&B. This one has 1 bedroom, a lounge (sofa bed), and a bathroom. This B&Bis equipped with a kitchenette (with oven, stove, refrigerator and washing machine) and can accommodate up to 4 people. The house was completely renovated in 2007 without losing its originality and has a separate entrance. In the immediate vicinity are small shops, cafes, restaurants and a pharmacy. Our guests receive upon arrival a map of Lisbon with all the necessary information for their stay as pleasant as possible. It is one of the oldest quarter of Lisbon and thus has both architecturally and culturally lot to offer. Here, the Fado has its origin and many small bars offer typical dishes and Fado performances. On a walk through the streets, the visitor is moved in a Lisbon earlier eras. June and July are the months of folk festivals in Lisbon. During this time, Alfama is colorfully decorated. There are booths with food everywhere (especially grilled sardines) and drink. The saint patron of Lisbon, St. Anthony, is celebrated on June 13. In his honor you will find all the parades in the neighbourhoods and so also of Alfama. The supporters of radical sports, we can still recommend the Downtown Alfama (cycling race through Alfama), which takes place annually. In the first half of December are Christmas concerts organized in the churches "Sao Miguel" in Alfama, "Igreja da Graça" and "Menino de Deus" in Encosta do Castelo.
