Two room apartment with kitchen, bathroom and entrance area. Situated in a beautifully renovated building dating from around 1900 on the ground floor at the rear, completely away from road traffic, looking out on a green inner courtyard. The apartment is located at the easternmost part of the Pestalozzistrasse, near the city centre. It is one minute’s walk to the elegant Savignyplatz with its legendary restaurants and cafes. The Kurfürstendamm and many theaters are within walking distance. The Pestalozzistrasse has many small antiques shops and fashion boutiques. Directly opposite the house is the "A - TRANE ", one of the foremost jazz cafes in the world. The apartment is about 55 square meters and fitted with central heating. It has a double bed (160x200)in the bedroom, and in the living room a sofa which can be converted into 2 single beds (2 x 90 x 200 cm). There are two wicker chairs and a table with 4 chairs. There is a flatscreen TV and a radio/CD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, electric stove and oven, microwave, cutlery etc. The bathroom is fully modernized; it has a shower, toilet and a basin with a mirror cabinet. The S-Bahn station Savignyplatz is less than 5 minutes’ walk away and is accessible with a lift. This S-Bahn No.9 goes direct to Schoenefeld Airport(40 minutes). Buses X 34 and 149 and the night bus N 49 stop at the Savignyplatz. Airport bus X9 from Tegel (20 minutes) stops at the Ernst Reuter Platz or at the Zoologischer Garten. The railway station Zoologischer Garten is one S-Bahn station from S-Bahn Savignyplaats. For bookings between 23rd December and 5th January 50 % is added to the price and there is a minimum stay of 5 days. The rental price includes bed linen, towels and cleaning of the apartment upon departure, provided it is left in a proper state. Coffee is free for our guests. Non smokers only.
